Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026
Nowist is a personal productivity assistant. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your control over it. It is written plainly on purpose.
What we collect
- Account. Your name and email from Google when you sign in.
- Your content. The tasks, notes, and goals you create in the app.
- Connected services (only if you connect them). When you connect Google Calendar, Gmail, or Contacts, Nowist accesses only what a feature needs, only when you ask — e.g. reading a relevant email to give you context, or sending an email you have reviewed and approved. We never bulk-import your inbox.
How we use it
- To run the app and its AI features (organizing tasks, drafting messages, planning training).
- AI processing is performed via Anthropic's API to generate these results for you.
- We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your content to train third-party models.
Google user data
Nowist's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Connected-account access can be revoked at any time in Settings, or at your Google Account permissions page.
Your control
- Disconnect any integration in Settings at any time.
- Request your data, or deletion of your account and all associated data, by emailing devon@nowist.ai.
